How to Stop Antimalware Service Executable from Using CPU

How to stop the antimalware service executable from using up CPU resources.
  1. Press Windows Key + W (brings up the settings search window).
  2. Search for Task Scheduler.
  3. On the left sidebar, navigate to Task Scheduler Library > Microsoft > Windows > Windows Defender.
  4. Double-click on the first setting in the list.
  5. In the new window, uncheck Run with highest privileges.
  6. Uncheck the main boxes under the Conditions tab (for Idle, Power, and Network).
  7. Antimalware service executable will not hog computer resources anymore.
