Firefox: How to Delete Extensions Without Remove Button

How to delete annoying Firefox extensions that do not have a remove button.
  1. Open regedit.exe by typing the full word into Windows search.
  2. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions.
  3. Look at the filepaths of the unwanted extensions.
  4. Locate these folders in the C:\ drive.
  5. Delete the install.rdf file.
  6. Go back to regedit and delete the key by right-clicking.
  7. Restart Firefox, and the extension will disappear.
  8. If you cannot delete the install.rdf file, just delete the key. This will still "remove" the extension from Firefox because Firefox will not detect it.

How to remove add-ons and extensions from Firefox.
  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click on the three bar settings icon on the right.
  3. Click Add-ons (puzzle icon).
  4. Find the extension or add-on that you want to remove.
  5. Click the Remove button.
  6. Refresh the page, and the add-on disappears.

How to Reset Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Click Internet options.
  4. Go to the Advanced tab.
  5. Click the Reset... button under Reset Internet Explorer settings.
  6. Optionally, you can delete all personal information too.
  7. Click the Reset button.
  8. Close all windows and restart IE.

Synthesia: How to Import MIDI Files

How to import a song (in the format of a MIDI) into Synthesia.
  1. Open Synthesia.
  2. Go to the Settings.
  3. In the left sidebar, select Songs.
  4. Press the blue plus (+) button.
  5. Browse through the computer to locate the song. (Where you saved the MIDI file.)
  6. Click Add in the upper-right corner.
  7. When you go back to Play a Song, the selected folder and all of its songs will be displayed.

How to view properties and information about a file in Windows.
  1. Locate the file.
  2. Right-click on the file.
  3. Select Properties at the bottom.
  4. Depending on the file, different tabs of options and information are displayed.
  5. To apply changes without closing the window, click Apply.
  6. To apply changes and close the window, click OK.
  7. To cancel changes (or if you did not make any changes), click Cancel.

Windows 8: How to Edit Start Menu Programs

How to add or remove Windows 8 start menu programs and icons.
  1. Go to the Start menu's list of apps.
  2. Right-click on the icon.
  3. Click Open file location.
  4. The folder containing all the Start menu icons will open.
  5. It is a hidden folder, so the previous steps are an easy way to find it.
  6. Remove any icons using right-click and delete.
  7. Add new program icons by creating a shortcut for the .exe and dragging it into this folder.

How to Load Google Chrome Fast

How to have Google Chrome start up fast.
  1. Go to the Chrome settings page.
  2. In the On startup section, choose Open a specific page or set of pages.
  3. Click Set pages.
  4. Type in about:blank for the URL.
  5. Click OK.
  6. The next time you start Chrome, it will load fast because it does not have to open a homepage at the same time.
