How to remove basic watermarks and logos from images in Paint.NET. This method works best for removing items set on a consistent background, such as grass.
  1. Open Paint.NET; locate and open the desired image.
  2. Select the Clone Stamp tool.
  3. Adjust the Brush width to a size that is large enough to paint over the watermark but not so large that it exceeds the size of the background.
  4. Move the circle over an area of background near the watermark, hold CTRL, and click once.
  5. Position the second circle over the watermark, hold down the left mouse button, and drag the circle over the watermark.
  6. The first circle will move along with the second circle. Reset the selection using step 4 to adjust for changes in the background.
  7. For a realistic appearance, use random motions instead of dragging the stamp in a straight line.
