1. Click on the timeline at the location where you want to split the clip.
2. Press the 'S' key on the keyboard.
3. The clips are now separate.
4. To group clips back together, select them, right-click, Group -> Create New. You can also press the 'G' key.
5. To clear the grouping: select the clips, right-click, Group -> Clear. You can also use CTRL+U.

1. In the upper-left corner of the preview window, click Project Video Properties. 
2. Select HD 1080-60i from the drop-down menu.
3. Make sure the width is 1920 and the height is 1080.

5. Add and edit your clips. If a message appears when dragging a clip onto the timeline, answer no.
6. When you are ready to render, go to File -> Render As...
7. Find Windows Media Video.
8. The 1080p options are not 16:9, so we will create our own.
9. Select 6 Mbps HD 720-30p.
10. Customize Template...
11. Go to the Video tab.
12. For Image size, select (Custom).
13. Set the width to 1920 and the height to 1080.
14. Rename the template.
15. Press the save button next to the name.
16. OK

1. Create the first header.
2. Go to Styles -> Styles and Formatting.
3. Switch to Page Styles by clicking its icon near the top of the sidebar.
4. Right-click, New....
5. Switch to the Page tab and reset the margins to match the default style.
6. Switch to the Header tab.
7. Check the box for Header on. Make sure the header spacing matches the default style.
8. Apply and OK.
9. Click at the end of the body text on the first page.
10. Go to Insert -> Manual Break....
11. For the type, select Page break.
12. Set the style to Untitled1 (the style you just created) and click OK.
13. The header ribbon should say Header (Untitled1). You can now edit the second header without changing the first.
14. Repeat as necessary for more headers.
