Windows 8: How to Force Quit a Program

How to force quit any program or application using the Windows 8 Task Manager.
  1. Right-click on the taskbar.
  2. Select Task Manager.
  3. Under Apps, find the program you want to close.
  4. Select the program or application.
  5. Click End task at the bottom of the window.
