Firefox: How to Delete Extensions Without Remove Button

How to delete annoying Firefox extensions that do not have a remove button.
  1. Open regedit.exe by typing the full word into Windows search.
  2. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions.
  3. Look at the filepaths of the unwanted extensions.
  4. Locate these folders in the C:\ drive.
  5. Delete the install.rdf file.
  6. Go back to regedit and delete the key by right-clicking.
  7. Restart Firefox, and the extension will disappear.
  8. If you cannot delete the install.rdf file, just delete the key. This will still "remove" the extension from Firefox because Firefox will not detect it.
