- Enter about:plugins in the Firefox address bar.
- Search for the plug-in that you want to remove.
- Copy the plug-in's file path listed under the name of the plug-in, leaving out the last file. For example, copy C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\plugins\[Do not copy this last part.]
- Open the Start screen or Start menu and paste the file path into the search bar.
- Press enter.
- The location of the plug-in will open in Windows Explorer.
- Delete the .dll file(s).
- If the above steps do not work, then locate the file(s) manually starting at the C:\ drive in Windows Explorer, also known as My Computer.
