Firefox: How to Remove Plug-ins

How to remove or delete plug-ins from Firefox on a Windows computer.
  1. Enter about:plugins in the Firefox address bar.
  2. Search for the plug-in that you want to remove.
  3. Copy the plug-in's file path listed under the name of the plug-in, leaving out the last file. For example, copy C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\plugins\[Do not copy this last part.]
  4. Open the Start screen or Start menu and paste the file path into the search bar.
  5. Press enter.
  6. The location of the plug-in will open in Windows Explorer.
  7. Delete the .dll file(s).
  8. If the above steps do not work, then locate the file(s) manually starting at the C:\ drive in Windows Explorer, also known as My Computer.
