- Open the File Explorer.
- Select This PC from the navigation menu on the left.
- If there is no menu, use the drop down menu in the address bar to select This PC.
- Under Devices and drives, right-click on Local Disk (C:).
- Select Properties. The General tab displays the amount of space used and the amount remaining on the hard drive in both numerical and visual form.
- The above method also works for virtual disk partitions.

Windows 10: Built-in Unit Converter
How to use the unit converter that is built-in to the calculator in Windows 10:
- Open the Start menu.
- Click on All apps.
- Under "C", select Calculator.
- Click on the menu icon (three bars).
- Scroll down. Under Converter, select the unit of measure that you wish to convert.
- Use the drop down menus to select a unit, and then type in a value using either the keys on the calculator or on the number pad of your keyboard.
- The supported conversions are: volume, length, weight and mass, temperature, energy, area, speed, time, power, data, pressure, and angle.

CamStudio: Recording Settings for Low-End Computers
How to set the recording settings on CamStudio to accommodate for low-performance computers while still producing high-quality video:
- Open the Region menu and select Full Screen.
- Open the Options menu.
- Select Video Options.
- Set the compressor to Microsoft Video 1 and the quality to 100, with Set Key Frames Every 100 frames.
- Under Framerates, set Capture Frames Every 5 milliseconds and the Playback Rate to 200 frames/second.
- Deselect the Auto Adjust box.
- Click OK.
- Open the Options menu.
- Select Do not record audio.
- Make sure Options -> Program Options -> Save settings on exit is checked to save these settings.
