- Open the Start menu.
- Click All apps.
- Find an item you want to remove. If you do not want to remove anything, just find any app.
- Right-click on the app, then go to More > Open file location.
- This will open the folder that contains all the Start menu links.
- Delete items from this folder to remove them from the Start menu, and drag shortcuts into the folder to add items to the Start menu.

Windows 10: How to Find Location of Current Background Image
How to find the location of the current background image in Windows 10:
- Open the Start menu.
- Search for and open regedit.
- Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop.
- Find the Wallpaper entry. Its data will be the file path of the current desktop background image.
- To remove this wallpaper image from the Settings app, for example, just navigate to the location using File Explorer and delete it. (You may need to enable Hidden folders.)

How to add a new search engine in Microsoft Edge:
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Navigate to the main page of the search engine to wish to use. (For example, to add DuckDuckGo, go to https://duckduckgo.com/.)
- More (three dots) > Settings > View advanced settings.
- Scroll down to Search in the address bar with and click Change.
- Click on the name of the new search engine. It should have (discovered) at the end of its name.
- Click Set as default.
- Searches from the address bar will now use the new search engine.

- Open Firefox.
- Click on the menu icon.
- Select Options.
- Switch to the Search tab on the left.
- Set a new default search engine, something other than the one you are removing.
- Under One-click search engines, click on the search engine you want to remove.
- Click the Remove button at the bottom of the page.
