Windows 10: How to Find Location of Current Background Image

How to find the location of the current background image in Windows 10:

1. Open the Start menu.
2. Search for and open regedit.
3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop.
4. Find the Wallpaper entry. Its data will be the file path of the current desktop background image.
5. To remove this wallpaper image from the Settings app, for example, just navigate to the location using File Explorer and delete it. (You may need to enable Hidden folders.)
