This tutorial describes how to permanently delete your Twitter account.
- Log in to your account on the web at https://twitter.com/.
- Click the gear / settings icon in the top right corner.
- Click Settings.
- On the left navigation, go to Account. It should be the default one.
- Scroll down to "Deactivate my account" at the very bottom.
- Twitter will keep your account for 30 days just in case. After that, it's gone forever.
- Click the blue Deactivate button.
- Enter your password.
- Your account will be deleted.
