- Open the Start menu.
- Click on the pinned File Explorer link; if there is no pinned link, search for File Explorer and open it.
- Navigate to the desired location.
- Click on the View tab.
- In the Show/hide section, check the box for Hidden items.
- Hidden files and folders will be displayed along with the regular files and folders.
- To hide them again, uncheck the same box.

- Open CCleaner.
- In the bottom-right corner, click Check for updates.
- The update website will open.
- Scroll to the bottom and click No thanks to the upgrade offer.
- Click the download button for the free version.
- On this page, you can find the release notes and compare the version number with the one in the top-left of the application to ensure that the download is an update.
- At the time of writing, the download button links to FileHippo. Click Download Latest Version on this website.
- Open the installer file and click next repeatedly, making sure to stop at any sponsor offers or advertisements and choose not to install whatever it is they want to install.
- When the installer is done, click Finish. The new version of CCleaner is ready to use.

How to remove OneDrive from the File Explorer in Windows 10.
- Open the Start menu.
- Search for regedit.exe and press enter.
- If a User Account Control prompt appears, click Yes.
- Navigate to this folder: Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6}.
- With the {018D...} selected, right-click on System.IsPinnedToNameSpaceTree in the main window.
- Click Modify..., change the value to 0, and click OK.
- Restart the File Explorer (if already open), and OneDrive will no longer appear in any of the directories.
