- Open the Start menu.
- Click on the pinned File Explorer link; if there is no pinned link, search for File Explorer and open it.
- Navigate to the desired location.
- Click on the View tab.
- In the Show/hide section, check the box for Hidden items.
- Hidden files and folders will be displayed along with the regular files and folders.
- To hide them again, uncheck the same box.
