- Open the Start screen.
- Search for the Snipping Tool.
- Press enter after finding the program. It's a red and blue scissors icon.
- Use the drop down menu next to New to choose between free-form, rectangular, window, or full-screen.
- Press the New button to take the screenshot.
- When you're done, either copy the screenshot or save it as an image.
- The large buttons for these actions are in the toolbar where New is.
